Service Agreement Overview
Welcome to C & N ENTERPRISES, INC.. By engaging our transport, forwarding, or warehouse services, you're agreeing to the operational standards outlined here. We've built these rules to ensure clarity and safety. Are you aware of your responsibilities as a shipper? Understanding these protocols helps us maintain the efficiency of Montana's logistics network.
1. Cargo Handling & Liability
At C & N ENTERPRISES, INC., we handle every piece of freight with extreme care. However, liability is limited based on industry-standard transit regulations. We don't assume responsibility for damages caused by improper packaging provided by the client. It's vital. Secure your goods properly to avoid transit friction.
2. Transit Delays & Force Majeure
What happens when the weather shifts unexpectedly? Logistics in Montana involves navigating challenging conditions. We're committed to delivery timelines, but C & N ENTERPRISES, INC. isn't liable for delays beyond our control, such as road closures, severe weather, or mechanical failures that are strictly unforeseen.
3. Warehousing Protocols
Our warehouses for freight transportation operate under strict safety guidelines. Entry is restricted to authorized personnel only. If items are stored for over 30 days without a prior contract, additional storage fees will apply. We'll keep things organized, but we need your coordination on pickup windows.
4. Specialized Transport
Specialized cargo requires specific documentation. Don't forget to submit hazmat or oversized paperwork 48 hours before the scheduled pickup. Our team needs this to ensure we remain compliant with state and federal laws.
